so yesterday was kind of odd…

some of you may remember when i sold my Jaguar XJ40.

well, the most recent owner stuffed it nose-first into a ditch at around 30 mph and bounced the passenger’s head off the inside of the windscreen. don’t worry though, everybody’s o.k.

but the poor car isn’t. it’s totalled.

so my boss ended up in possession of it (since we service a lot of Jags), and yesterday i spent the morning stripping it of useable parts.

and let me tell you, nobody cleaned that poor car after i sold it. trash everywhere.

but other than that, it was just strange tearing the guts out of a car that i once owned.

i’ll put up pictures later – the crumple zone certainly did.

quote of the day:

“It’s never safe to be nostalgic about something until you’re absolutely certain there’s no chance of its coming back.” – Bill Vaughn
