Guinness is good for you!


yep, that’s what i’m drinking now.

since 1759, the fine folks at the St. James Gate Brewery in Dublin have been producing beer (though not this beer – the true dry stout porter didn’t really appear until the 19th century), and the modern pint of Guinness is a fine heir to the tradition.

probably the single most popular dark beer in the world, Guinness has a singular flavour and aroma – shades of toast and coffee, but very light. not the best stout in the world, but far from bad. possibly my single favourite commercial beer for daily drinking.
